Let the bells peal!  Ring in the holidays with a classic tale.  Long Island's newest theatrical venue The Argyle Theatrepresents the musical The Hunchback of Notre Dame, based on the novel by Victor Hugo and songs from the Disney film originally developed by Disney Theatrical Productions, with music by Alan Menkin, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and book by Peter Parnell.

Latino Theatre Projects Presents BRAINPEOPLE By Jose Rivera

Latino Theatre Projects (LTP) and Producing Artistic Director Fernando Luna, in association with Theatre Off Jackson, will present the Pacific Northwest premiere of Brainpeople by prize-winning Puerto Rican playwright Jose Rivera. Brainpeople will be directed by LTP's Producing Artistic Director Fernando Luna. The production will be presented Today-Saturday evenings, October 11 through November 3, 2018 at 8:00 pm. Performances will be bilingual in English with some Spanish phrases. General admission is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Seniors and students are $20. Mariachi Workshop for Kids Launches This Summer at Velas Vallarta

Starting this summer, kids visiting Velas Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta can now learn to be a true mariachi. Believed to have originated in Jalisco, the state in which Puerto Vallarta is found, in the 18th century, mariachi music is recognized as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. Dressed in traditional mariachi clothing, children from 4-12 years old will be given guitar and maracas lessons from a local musician. The resort's social media community manager will be available to take pictures of the kids in the mariachi clothing to share with parents. Held every Wednesday and Saturday, this class will last 45 minutes.

Traditional Mexican Cantina Pairing; Recipes from Puerto Vallarta's Velas Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta's Velas Vallarta resort shares the recipe for its Cucumber & Habanero Chili Margarita. To complement the drink, Executive Chef Guillermo Carmona offers some recipes from the resort's Foodies Cantina, a restaurant inspired by a typical Mexican cantina's food and drinks. Influenced by the city of Vallarta, the Smoked Marlin "La Tia" pays tribute to the fishermen who sail daily to earn their living. They explore the wonders of the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful landscapes from their boats. Perfumed with touches of Oaxaqueño mezcal, the Magret al Mezcal Amores pays homage to the farmers of the Mexican states of Oaxaca, Guerrero and Durango with fresh and fruity textures.
