Do You Love This Planet? by the playwright and philosopher Alexander Matthews will premiere at Covent Garden's Tristan Bates Theatre in February 2019. Directed by Antony Law with design by Adrian Gee, the play will star Christian James as 'Alan', Lucy Lowe as 'Rachel' and Chris Porter as 'Schumann'. Do You Love This Planet will run from 27 February to 23 March, with a press night at 7pm on Tuesday 5 March.

As BroadwayWorld previously announced, this year, instead of running a 30-second ad during the big game, SKITTLES® is creating the first-ever commercial performed as a live Broadway musical. It has been revealed that Michael C. Hall will lead the 17-member cast.

Between sports-related, high-energy dance, film screenings under the stars and other public and private events, The Montalban will be celebrating its first decade of outdoor activities on its multifaceted rooftop in 2019 - all year long! To kick-off its alfresco decade, it's hosting pop-up movie screenings starting on February 1st, just in time for Groundhog Day, with a trio of Harold Ramis comedies before the official season of Rooftop Movies at The Montalban returns in April. Films will include Animal House (Fri. 2/1), Groundhog Day ON Groundhog Day (Sat. 2/2) and Caddyshack (Sun. 2/3 ). For Valentine's Day The Montalban will host another pop-up with over a week of romance-themed film screenings from Friday, February 8th through Sunday, February 17, 2019. Previews begin tonight for the world premiere production of The Convent, a new play by critically acclaimed playwright Jessica Dickey (The Amish Project, Charles Ives Take Me Home), directed by Daniel Talbott.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.

NAPOLEON by Stanley Kubrick (The Greatest Movie Never Made) to be presented for the first time adapted for the stage by David Serero starring as Napoleon

The Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters will present its annual Celebrity Benefit on August 25th starring Grammy-winner Steve Tyrell and hosted by actress Sarah Drew. Guest will be treated to an evening of fine art and a red-carpet brimming with the stars of film and television. But there is no doubt the real star of the evening will be a special performance of this summer's popular Pageant of the Masters, 'Under the Sun.' Proceeds will support the Building Fund for renovations of the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters' facility.

Golden Globe Award-winner Michael C. Hall ('Dexter,' 'Six Feet Under,' The Realistic Joneses) will play the title role of Thom Pain in the Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; Harold Wolpert, Executive Director; James Houghton, Founder) production of Thom Pain (based on nothing), by Drama Desk Award-winning playwright Will Eno and directed by Obie Award-winner Oliver Butler. Eno was the first writer to complete Signature's Residency 5, a unique program offering three full productions over the course of five years. This is his first Legacy production since completing the program, which included productions of his play Title and Deed, and the world premieres of The Open House and Wakey, Wakey.

Directed by Elena Araoz, the production will run from September 7 through September 30 at Teatro Circulo, located at 64 East 4th Street. The opening is set for Saturday, September 15.

The Group Rep's well received production of Neil Simon's classic farce RUMORS, directed by Doug Engalla, produced by Alyson York, has been extended due to critical acclaim and sold out houses. The play about five neurotic couples who gather for a dinner party celebrating one couple's 10th anniversary, goes wildly awry when guests arrive early only to discover their host has shot himself, the hostess and servants are missing, and dinner not ready. Confusions and miscommunications mount, as the evening spins off into farcical hilarity. The play, which opened June 15, will run through August 11th at the Lonny Chapman Theatre in North Hollywood, at the edge of the NoHo Arts District.

Michael C. Hall, Cleopatra Coleman and Bokeem Woodbine join Boyd Holbrook in the cast of upcoming Netflix project “In the Shadow of the Moon”.

ZHONG-JING FANG, soloist of American Ballet Theatre, PAOLA HARTLEY, former principal dancer of Ballet Arizona, KARL CONDON, former principal dancer of the Boston Ballet, and ILYA KOZADAYEV, former soloist of the Houston Ballet will be on the Shreveport Dance Academy's Summer Intensive to be held in Shreveport, Louisiana.   Zhong-Jing Fang and Paola Hartley will be on the faculty from July 23-27, 2018, and Karl Condon and  Ilya Kozadayev will be on the faculty from July 30-August 3, 2018.
