Following the success of Noël Coward's Private Lives in September which raised £44,000 for the Royal Theatrical Fund, Lockdown Theatre today announces a live virtual table read of The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard, in association with The Royal Theatrical Fund. The table read will take place via Zoom, followed by a live Q&A with the cast and director on Sunday 25 October at 7pm.

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, Tony Award winning actor Brent Carver has passed away at age 68. This evening, Carver's Broadway colleagues took to social media to celebrate his life and legacy.

BroadwayWorld has learned that Tony Award winning actor Brent Carver has passed away at age 68. Born in 1951, the Canadian actor Brent Carver was a star of both stage and screen.

BETSY McBRIDE, SIMON WEXLER, PAOLA HARTLEY, and KAREN SCALZITTI-KENNEDY will be members of the guest faculty for the Shreveport Dance Academy's Summer Intensive in Shreveport, Louisiana. Amazon Studios today announced the first group of series regulars set to star in the new Amazon Original series based on stories from the iconic 'The Lord of the Rings' novels by J.R.R. Tolkien.
