2019 is shaping up to be a great year for theatre goers in Jacksonville! Here is a list of nine shows we are looking forward to this year.

To the delight of her fans, the 10th anniversary special engagement of Storm Large's autobiographical, one-woman rock musical Crazy Enough goes on sale to the public on Jan. 4. Crazy Enough broke records at The Armory in 2009 with a sold-out, 21-week run. Beginning with stories of a childhood complicated by her mother's schizophrenia, Large takes us through the ups and downs of the years that follow - sex, drugs, running away to California, and the saving grace of rock 'n' roll.  Crazy Enoughfeatures original songs by Large and James Beaton, including the hilarious and incredibly catchy "My Vagina is Eight Miles Wide." It will be directed by Daniel Stern with original music director Beaton on the U.S. Bank Main Stage. Crazy Enough will open on Large's 50th birthday.

The intimate, indoor Event Gallery at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts will host 1969 Woodstock festival alum, John Sebastian on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. Reserved seating tickets will go on-sale to the general public on Thursday, December 20th at 10:00 a.m. at www.BethelWoodsCenter.org

Premium network EPIX has greenlit Punk, a four-part docuseries from executive producer John Varvatos.  Varvatos brings his passion and deep connection to the roots of the PUNK movement to the series, partnering with filmmaker Derik Murray's Network Entertainment to produce the quintessential story of punk.  The series is currently in production, and will premiere on EPIX on March 11, 2019 at 10 PM.

Parx Casino®, Pennsylvania's #1 casino, welcomes rock n' roll hitmakers Daughty to the Xcite Center on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Led by frontman Chris Daughtry, the band's lineup features Josh Steely on lead, Josh Paul on bass, Brian Craddock on rhythm, Elvio Fernandes on keyboards, and Brandon Maclin on drums.  Daughtry is currently on tour to support their fifth studio album, Cage to Rattle, which was released this past summer. New York indie icon John Gallagher will be honored with a Lifetime Career Achievement Award on October 21 at the inaugural Cutting Room International Short Film Festival. A fixture on the New York scene for 40 years as a director, writer, producer, author, historian and educator, with a wide range of international filmmaking resources and relationships, and a highly regarded, encyclopedic knowledge of films and filmmaking, his track record is especially strong in discovering and mentoring new talent, both in front of and behind the camera.

Tom Petty's career-spanning box set, An American Treasure, enters the Billboard Top 200 chart at #9, marking his 13th top 10 album, and it is the #1 Rock Album. The collection is available for purchase HERE. 

The video for “Gainesville”—a previously unreleased song on the Tom Petty career-spanning box set An American Treasure—is premiering today. “Gainesville” was recorded in 1998 during Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers' Echo sessions, and the video was directed by Brantley Gutierrez and produced by Michael W. City Winery Chicago has announced that Katharine McPhee will perform on Monday, November 5th. City Winery also announced many other shows, including its annual 10,000 Maniacs Valentine's run. For the first time in his 20+ year career as one of music's most in demand drummers, Fred Eltringham, steps away from the kit and up to the mic with his basement band, The Get You, and their debut album, Take Cover (The Noise Company). The Get You reimagines pre-existing songs with an edgy, lo-fi swagger. Eltringham curates the song selections by focusing on deep cuts over big hits, giving us an alternative appreciation of some of music's greatest writers. Basically, without even trying, Eltringham has created the coolest cover band ever.

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces that Andy Nyman will lead the company as Tevye in its major revival of one of the world's most-beloved musicals of all time, Fiddler on the Roof, in a new staging by Trevor Nunn. The production opens on 5 December, with previews from 23 November, and runs until 9 March. Booking is open for supporters of the Menier with public booking opening on 5 September.

The New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich has today announced the cast for their brand new actor-musician co-production of Tony Award-Winning show, ONCE, which will make its regional premiere at the Ipswich based theatre from Thursday 6 to Saturday 22 September.
