City Winery Chicago has announced that Katharine McPhee will perform on Monday, November 5th. City Winery also announced many other shows, including its annual 10,000 Maniacs Valentine's run. For the first time in his 20+ year career as one of music's most in demand drummers, Fred Eltringham, steps away from the kit and up to the mic with his basement band, The Get You, and their debut album, Take Cover (The Noise Company). The Get You reimagines pre-existing songs with an edgy, lo-fi swagger. Eltringham curates the song selections by focusing on deep cuts over big hits, giving us an alternative appreciation of some of music's greatest writers. Basically, without even trying, Eltringham has created the coolest cover band ever.

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces that Andy Nyman will lead the company as Tevye in its major revival of one of the world's most-beloved musicals of all time, Fiddler on the Roof, in a new staging by Trevor Nunn. The production opens on 5 December, with previews from 23 November, and runs until 9 March. Booking is open for supporters of the Menier with public booking opening on 5 September.

The New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich has today announced the cast for their brand new actor-musician co-production of Tony Award-Winning show, ONCE, which will make its regional premiere at the Ipswich based theatre from Thursday 6 to Saturday 22 September.

Spanning the band's storied and wildly successful 15-years-and-counting recording career, the comprehensive collection contains all of Fall Out Boy's best-selling studio albums, starting with the band's 2003 pop-punk debut, Take This To Your Grave, including 2005's career-defining double-platinum hit platter, From Under The Cork Tree, and capping off with their most recent album M A N I A which earned the band their fourth No. 1 record upon release this past January. This must-have on-wax collection also includes 2013's combo Save Rock And Roll (PAX•AM Edition) for the first time ever on 12-inch vinyl. A major theme running throughout THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW musical is transvestism which, according to O'Brien, was not originally meant to be as prominent as it ended up being after its original London production starring the cross-dressing, incredibly sexy Tim Curry as Frank-n-Furter. Brilliantly continuing in that tradition since the Maverick Theater's first production in 2007 is Dennis Tong, who absolutely inhabits the iconic role with every ounce of his being. From the moment he appears atop the bar in the theater and throws back his cape to reveal Frank-n-Furter's scantily dressed sexy self, you know this is going to be a night of theater you will never forget. In fact, the entire cast creates each and every character purely from their hearts.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has announced two new productions for this fall: THE HARD PROBLEM, a new play by Tom Stoppard, to be directed by Jack O'Brien, beginning performances Thursday, October 25 and opening Monday, November 19 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater; and the Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 production of PLOT POINTS IN OUR SEXUAL DEVELOPMENT, a new play by Miranda Rose Hall, to be directed by Margot Bordelon, which will begin performances Saturday, October 6, open on Monday, October 22, and run through Sunday, November 18 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Legendary songwriter, recording artist and performer Paul Simon will release his 14 th studio album - In The Blue Light - on September 7. Produced by Simon and Roy Halee, who have worked together since the 1960s, the album features a talented cast of musicians who have joined Simon to lend fresh perspectives on 10 of the artist's favorite (though perhaps less-familiar) songs, drawn from his unparalleled body of work.

On September 28, Reprise Records will release An American Treasure—a career-spanning Tom Petty box set. The 60-track set unveils dozens of previously unreleased recordings, alternate versions of classic songs, rarities, historic live performances and deep tracks that spotlight Tom's remarkable depth and evolution as a revered and tremendously influential songwriter, recording artist and performer. An American Treasure marks the first release of Tom Petty music since the artist's tragic passing in October 2017.

Alberta Bair Theater has added four additional shows since the season preview for its stakeholders on May 24:  for fans of 60's rock: Felix Cavaliere & Gene Cornish's RASCALS with special guest Carmine Appice on drums on Friday, September 7 at 7:30; for fans of 80's rock and Broadway musicals: ROCK OF AGES on Monday, November 19 at 7:30;  for a fun ladies night out during the holidays: 'Twas a Girls Night Before Christmas on Friday, December 14 at 7:30;  and for family entertainment at its best the multi Tony awarded THE SOUND OF MUSIC on Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9, both at 7:30.

Music and dance fill the Lackland Performing Arts Center as the Centenary Stage Company announces its 2018 - 19 full season line up of events. In addition to CSC's professional theatrical productions, the 2018 - 19 season will see the return of the January Thaw Music Festival alongside a plethora of new concerts and dance performances.

London's Dirty Water Records, together along Metronomo Management (Lisbon), Peer Music and Alter-K Records (Paris) and in cooperation with Sony Music/Jive Epic, are pleased to announce the US and UK album release of 'Misfit' by European blues-punk sensation, The Legendary Tigerman (A.K.A. Paulo Furtado). 'Misfit' will be released on Dirty Water Records in the US and UK territories on August 24th, 2018 and will feature limited edition white coloured 12' vinyl coupled with four exclusive and unreleased bonus tracks entitled 'Misfit Ballads EP'.
