The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce that On The Town star Elizabeth Stanley will be celebrating the show's creators Betty Comden and Adolph Green in concert in 'Carried Away' on Monday, April 6 at 7pm. Working Its Way Back to the Durham Performing Arts Center from April 7th-12th is the national touring production of the long-running Tony and Grammy Award-Winning smash, Jersey Boys featuring Matthew Dailey as Tommy DeVito, a role originated on Broadway by Tony Award-Winner Christian Hoff.

Ladies and gentlemen...The Rolling Stones are back! The band has announced that they will kick off their new 15-city North American stadium, ZIP CODE tour, in San Diego on May 24 at Petco Park. The tour will make stops in Columbus, Minneapolis, Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis, Detroit and Buffalo before wrapping in Québec on the Plains of Abraham on July 15 at Festival d'été de Québec. This last concert being their only performance in Canada. Passes for Québec will go on sale Saturday, April 11 at 12pm local time. On the heels of the opening of Lonesome Traveler Off-Broadway, the musical which originated at Rubicon Theatre Company which celebrates the essence and spirit of America folk music, Rubicon Artistic Director Emeritus James O'Neil today announced a one-night-only concert by singer/songwriter Noel Paul Stookey on Saturday April 11, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at the theatre, located at 1006 E. Main Street in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District. The performance will feature Stookey's own compositions, as well as hits from his years in the legendary group Peter, Paul and Mary (famous for performances of songs like Dylan's “Blowin' in the Wind, “If I Had a Hammer” and “Puff, the Magic Dragon”).

The Boxmasters, the one-of-a-kind eclectic band whose many musical influences come together to create their own unique sound, has signed with APA. Their upcoming fourth album, entitled Somewhere Down The Road, is set to be released later this year. The band is comprised of Teddy Andreadis, who has shared the stage with such legendary artists as Guns N' Roses, Carole King, Alice Cooper, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley and B.B. Portland Ovations heats up this winter with its' presentation of the Tony Award-winning musical Memphis at Merrill Auditorium on Saturday, March 14 for two performances 4pm and 8pm.

The distinguished Cuban-American playwright Eduardo Machado has created a touchstone piece by taking a one-act play with music, written in 1982, and turning it into a full-length, two-act musical. His 'Rosario and the Gypsies,' with songs by composer Rick Vartorella and lyrics by Mr. Machado and Mr. Vartorella, was a short, wild rock 'n roll play with music about the backstage romances and melodramas of a hippie performance troupe in southern California who were devoted to the art of change. Its songs were a combination of street pop and 60's-70's rock. It was produced in NYC by Ensemble Studio Theater in 1982 and it got Machado recognized as a writer to be reckoned with. Machado and Vartorella have now revised the piece and completed its story, adding a second act, in which we learn the future for its characters. Theater for the New City will present this revised and expanded version of 'Rosario and the Gypsies' from tonight, February 18 to March 8, directed by Machado.
