The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) has announced that tickets for the 2023/24 DCPA Theatre Company productions and 11 Broadway & Cabaret tours are now on sale.  

The reissue includes the original ten track album, a previously unreleased recording of Idol’s complete August 12, 1982 concert at The Roxy in West Hollywood, CA and the recently unearthed and previously unreleased 12-minute Clubland Extended Remix of his classic song “White Wedding.”

The soundtrack blends vintage recordings by Donnie & Joe (including the cult favorite “Baby”) with exclusive new performances by Donnie Emerson, Nancy Sophia Emerson, and actor Noah Jupe, plus original score selections by composer Leopold Ross (Black Mirror, A Million Little Pieces).

The Falling and the Rising centers around a strong female hero known only as “Soldier”. After sending a video message home on the eve of her daughter’s thirteenth birthday, the Soldier is severely wounded by a roadside IED. Doctors quickly place her in an induced coma to help minimize the extensive trauma to her brain. The Soldier must now make an arduous journey towards both healing and home. 

EPIC Events presents the retro flashback band, Hairball, coming back for their third performance on MIDCO Stage at Essentia Health Plaza at The Lights on Friday, July 21st at 7 p.m. with special guest Frantic Anarchy.

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater presents The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield, directed by RJ Tolan. Performances run Tuesdays through Saturdays, June 30 to July 29 at 8 p.m., with the exception of a Monday performance on July 3 and no performance on July 4.

The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, has announced the schedule for its 54th series of classic films and cult favorites. The 2023 series will run June 15-July 16 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.) and feature 19 films over five weeks.

Two new songs from the album are available to hear now - “Palm Springs Cemetery” and “Buttermilk Sky.”

The once in a lifetime concert, which featured special guests Alison Mosshart (The Kills, The Dead Weather), Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) and Tony Kanal (No Doubt), was filmed for a forthcoming concert film produced by Lastman Media and scheduled for theatrical release through Encore Nights later this year. 'The Keepin' Cozy Show with Kitten Solloway' is a character-based improv show modeled after the television specials of the 1950s and 1960s. December 3rd's show is the fourth live installment of Kitten's story at The Players Theatre, following three successful and murder-free performances since June of this year.
