The weather is getting warmer and excitement is heating up as Cheshire Fest 2019 fast approaches.

Vineyard Theatre announces that Tony Award winner Leslie Odom, Jr. (HAMILTON), Tony Award nominee Sarah Stiles (TOOTSIE), Ngozi Anyanwu (GOOD GRIEF), and Kathryn Erbe ('Law & Order: Criminal Intent'), and DJ Crystal Clear will join the line-up of stars set for the company's 2019 Gala fundraiser celebrating Tony, Olivier, Drama Desk, and Drama League Award nominated artist and Vineyard Board Member, Colman Domingo.

Artistic Director Mathew Wright today announced AGENTS OF CHANGE, ArtsWest's 2019-20 Season, with six productions - featuring plays by Tony and Nobel Prize-winning playwrights, a boldly reimagined classic, and a world premiere from local luminary Sara Porkalob - all centered on revolutions, and the people who create, fuel and represent them.

Anoka's Lyric Arts in the Main Stage Theater reprises a 200 year old tradition when the company stages Jane Austen's famous bestselling novel Sense & Sensibility--For the company's recent production, which opened on a February weekend, Director Natalie Novacek choose an adaptation by actor/playwright Kate Hamill, whom the Wall Street Journal awarded  Playwright of the Year in 2017. Known for her contemporary takes on classical novels, Hamill channels Austin's spirit by incorporating forty percent of her original text, and invokes sixty percent of Hamill's innovation to create the hybrid script. This method abridges the lengthy literary novel  and allows for immense interpretation where audiences will ultimately benefit and enjoy.

Following last year's momentous 50th anniversary celebrations, The Isle of Wight Festival today announces the first artists for the 2019 event, which kicks off the British festival season on  13th - 16th June.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.

On the heels of her Hallmark TV debut last Friday, viral sensation Karen Waldrup added four more awards to her resume. As suspicion goes, Friday 13th is bad luck but viral sensation, country singer/songwriter and charismatic entertainer Karen Waldrup couldn't disagree more.  Her first full length albumJustified is available everywhere now and it's currently sitting at #10 on the iTunes Country album chart and at #72 on the All Genre chart. Waldrup is the only independent artist in the Top 10.

Raphael Saadiq recently announced his first headline tour in several years. Today, he announced that his longtime friend and Lucy Pearl bandmate Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest)--who recently announced new album TheMidnight Hour with Adrian Younge and featuring Saadiq, among other noteworthy musicians--will support him on several dates of the summer run. Flint, MI musician & activist Tunde Olaniran will also join the pair at Detroit's MOCAD.
