Transport Group has announced its 2018-2019 mainstage season of two productions: Renascence, a world premiere musical about a radical and reckless poet and The Trial of the Catonsville Nine, a play about the trial that sparked a national wave of Vietnam War resistance. Renascence will run October 5 - November 17, 2018 and The Trial of the Catonsville Nine will run January 16 - February 23, 2019. Both productions will be presented at the Abrons Arts Center, 466 Grand Street, New York City. Transport Group season memberships are now on sale on their website: transportgroup.org. Casting and additional staffing announcements and single ticket sales will be available at a later date.

The 24th season of the Adirondack Theatre Festival will kick-off on with the romantic musical Some Lovers. The show will open at the Charles R. Wood Theater, located at 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls, June 15th-23rd, with a preview on June 14th.

All Donna McKechnie needs is the music (a mirror) and she'll still dance for you. The 75-year-old is currently starring as Joanne in the original musical, Half Time, at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey.

The second play in this year's Block Party is AMERYKA, written and directed by Critical Mass Performance Group Artistic Director Nancy Keystone, which continues through April 29, 2018 at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. Due to demand, The New Group has announced a three-week extension for Jerry Springer - The Opera, with Matt McGrath appearing as Jerry Springer beginning March 13.  Terrence Mann, currently appearing in the role of Jerry Springer, plays his final performance March 11 due to an existing commitment beyond that date.

Adirondack Theatre Festival (ATF) announces its 24th season - the fourth for Producing Artistic Director, Chad Rabinovitz.  Rabinovitz will again bring an entire season of major new works to ATF with a team of top-level professional artists, offering experiences that cannot be found anywhere else in the world - only in Glens Falls.  After a record-breaking season of sold-out performances last year, doubling attendance and subscribership in just the past three years, the 2018 season promises to be even larger.  In fact, the season will be one week longer than ever before in order to accommodate the large-scale productions.  Performances will run June 14 - August 9 at the Charles R. Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer), New York City's award-winning pioneer in diversity and multi-ethnic casting in the performing arts since 1968, will celebrate its 49th Anniversary at its annual Gala Benefit on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Baruch Performing Arts Center (East 25th Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenues).
