29th Street Rep (Paula Ewin and Ted Osborne, Producers) present the ONE NIGHT ONLY celebration of Playwright in Residence Bill Nave, who died in 2016. Directed by Vera Beren at The Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Symphony Space at 2537 Broadway at 95th Street, New York, NY on Wednesday, May 2nd at 8:00 pm. Admission is free and by invitation. The performance will run approximately 3 hours, with one intermission.

InterAct Theatre Company to Host 'June-A-Palooza' A Festival of Readings and Performances From All Over Philly

Flushing Town Hall (FTH), the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company are pleased to collaborate with Queens College Dance Program to present an unprecedented lineup for CrossCurrent V, featuring an upcoming work Yin Mei, the coordinator of the program, and emergent choreographer dancer Huiwang Zhang, as well as the new works of Nai-Ni Chen on Sunday, April 15th at 2 PM. A panel discussion moderated by Ellen Kodedak, the Executive Director of Flushing Town Hall, will follow the one-hour performance.

The season begins with the World Premiere of The Steadfast Tin Soldier: A Christmas Pantomime, conceived and directed by Ensemble Member Mary Zimmerman from the story by Hans Christian Andersen. American Composers Orchestra Announces 2017-2018 Emerging Composers

American Composers Orchestra continues its commitment to the creation and development of new orchestral music with the announcement of sixteen emerging composers who will participate in its catalytic programs. Six emerging composers will participate in the 27th Annual Underwood New Music Readings on June 21-22, 2018 at a location to be announced. Ten emerging composers receive 2018 EarShot New Music Readings presented by Fort Wayne Philharmonic (February 7, 2018), Charlotte Symphony Orchestra (March 1, 2018), and Jacksonville Symphony (April 20, 2018). EarShot is a partnership between American Composers Orchestra, League of American Orchestras, American Composers Forum, and New Music USA.

Artistic Director Robert Falls announces Goodman Theatre's new 2018/2019 Season-a 14-play line-up of timely, original and inspired works curated by Falls in collaboration with his artistic associates. The new season, which begins in September and continues through July 2019, includes 10 full productions on the Goodman's stages (856-seat Albert Theatre and 350-seat flexible Owen Theatre) plus three free New Stagesdevelopmental productions, and one TBA production TBA staged as part of the Chicago Latino Theater Alliance's 2018 International Latino Theater Festival. Goodman Theatre memberships, including new flexible packages, are now available for purchase.

Anniversaries are customarily times to reflect on the past, but for Maine State Music Theatre's Artistic Director, Curt Dale Clark, the 2018 gala celebration of the company's sixty years is not only a time to celebrate history, but also to use the significant milestone as an opportunity to look to the future. 'We are thinking forward and not resting on our laurels. We are accentuating what works, trying to fix what doesn't, and trying to find new ways to engage the community and make them happy,' Clark explains his philosophy about the Brunswick-based theatre's upcoming historic season.
