Rehearsals begin today for The 5th Avenue Theatre's new production of Mamma Mia!, the celebrated musical that features the music of global pop sensation ABBA. Disney Theatrical Productions and Playhouse Square announced today that tickets for the long-awaited engagement of Disney's Aladdin will go on sale to the public TODAY at 11AM. The hit Broadway musical will begin performances in Cleveland at the KeyBank State Theatre at Playhouse Square on May 2, 2018 for a limited engagement of 4 weeks through May 27th, 2018. The opening night is Friday, May 4th at 7:30PM. Aladdin is part of the KeyBank Broadway Series at Playhouse Square.

Disney's Aladdin will welcome Arielle Jacobs as Jasmine on Broadway beginning Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Jacobs originated the role in the Australian production in 2016 and is the sister of original Broadway star Adam Jacobs, currently leading the North American tour in the title role. Her previous Broadway credits include Wicked and In the Heights.

The acclaimed Stepinac Theatre, White Plains, NY, continues to make news as a producer of award-winning musicals. The latest big headline is that Stepinac was one of only five high schools in the U.S (and the only one in New York State!) that was granted permission by Walt Disney Theatricals to produce Newsies, the 2012 Tony-winning musical.
