Fifty years after its debut, “Grease” is still the word. The Beverly Theatre Guild kicks off its 60th season with a stage production of the knock-your-bobby-socks-off musical Grease at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21 & 22 and 2 p.m. on Oct. 23 at the Baer Theatre at Morgan Park Academy Arts Center in Chicago.

Celebrated vocalist Kate Baker and her late husband, guitar giant and influential educator Vic Juris, chronicle a moving love story on Return to Shore, their evocative new album out now.

The Public Theater has announced complete casting for the world premiere of PLAYS FOR THE PLAGUE YEAR, written by and featuring Pulitzer Prize winner and Public Theater Writer-in-Residence Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Bessie Award winner Niegel Smith. 

The EP is four previously unreleased tracks, including a cover of David Bowie’s 'Sound and Vision.' Three of the songs were recorded during sessions for the band’s last studio album The Lower Side Of Uptown (2017), while 'Forgiven' was recorded during the No Deliverance session (2008).
