Pacific Ballet Dance Theatre (PBDT), Natasha Middleton, Artistic Director, will present "THE BEST OF KHACHATURIAN," an evening of ballet and instrumental music written by iconic Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian.

On Thursday, August 31, Oliver Conant (Author/Director) and Justyna Kostek (Author/Star) will host the World Premiere of their anticipated one-woman tour-de-force musical, DIETRICH RIDES AGAIN, about the life and times of Marlene Dietrich.

Audiences now have eight more chances to see stage and screen star Stacy Keach in his tour-de-force performance as Chicagoland native son, Ernest Hemingway. Goodman Theatre announces that playwright Jim McGrath's newest work - Pamplona, which begins preview performances tomorrow - has been extended for one week, now closing on Sunday, June 25.

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) announced the details of an extensive, eleven-concert tour across Europe led by Music Director Louis Langree over three weeks in August and September.

Resuming its status as an annual event after several seasons as a biennial, the New York Guitar Festival returns in Spring 2017 with cross-cultural concert programming in celebration of works for guitar. This year the Festival expands its partnership with media sponsor WNYC, which will host a 4-week series of events at The Greene Space. Kicking off with the Opening Night concert on May 18th  by two-time Grammy-winning classical guitarist Sharon Isbin, the weekly series will follow every Thursday through June 8, 2017.

Arlekin Players Theatre presents a stage version of Mikhail Bulgakov's unfinished novel Dead Man's Diary: A Theatrical Novel, a memoir that focuses on the author's inexplicable, mysterious, and comical love of the world of theatre. Performances run from May 12 thru June 4 at Arlekin Players' home at 368 Hillside Avenue in Needham. Performances are in Russian with audio-translation in English.

Cantata Singers concludes its season with a program exploring Jewish history, culture, and music on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 8pm in Jordan Hall. The University of Washington School of Drama will present Sarah Ruhl's adaptation of Orlando by Virginia Woolf, directed by School of Drama Professor and CIVIC REP Artistic Director L. Zane Jones. Last night, Co-Artistic Director of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Wu Han, announced the seventh season of the society's residency at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance from the stage. The 2017-2018 CMS season promises a revolving multi-generational and international roster of the world's finest chamber musicians which enables CMS to continue to present chamber music of every instrumentation, style, and historical period.

Since opening the 2016 - 2017 season last September, New York City Opera has reestablished itself as a vital part of New York City's cultural landscape, delivering new productions, New York premieres and sold-out performances. The season opened with a critically acclaimed double bill of Leoncavallo's Pagliacci and Rachmaninoff's Aleko bringing the latter to the New York stage for the first time. In November, City Opera presented the New York premiere of Tobin Stokes' Iraq War opera, Fallujah. Rubicon Theatre Company celebrates Black History Month with THE DEVIL'S MUSIC: THE LIFE AND BLUES OF BESSIE SMITH, starring singer and actress Miche Braden of the original Off-Broadway production (named one of the 10 Best Off-Broadway productions of the year by the N.Y. Daily Times). Described by CBC as a, "bawdy, bluesy, boozy rollicking night out at the theatre," the show follows the life, loves and career of blues and jazz singer Bessie Smith, called the "Empress of the Blues."

Visceral Dance Chicago will continue its fourth season offerings with SPRINGFOUR at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Millennium Park, the third mainstage Chicago performance of the company's fourth season.

Pioneers Go East Collective will present the World Premiere of American Mill No. 2, a new music-theatre and documentary work written and directed by Gian Marco Lo Forte, with music by Kamala Sankaram, and choreography by Maura Nguyen Donohue. The production, which is devised, performed and written by the Pioneers Go East Collective will begin on March 30, 2017, and run through April 9, 2017 at A.R.T./NY Theatres (502 West 53rd Street at 10th Avenue) as a limited engagement.

The Symphony and The Majestic Theatre are teaming up with Santikos Entertainment once again to create movie magic with the North American premiere of "Jurassic Park in Concert". The full-length film classic features legendary composer John Williams' iconic musical score and will be performed in HD, with live-to-picture by the San Antonio Symphony.  "Jurassic Park in Concert" comes to the Majestic on February 17-18, 2017, with shows at 8 p.m. both days and 2 p.m. on February 18.
