Baltimore Center Stage is thrilled to announce Grammy-nominated Broadway actress Syndee Winters will be in concert on Saturday February 9, 2019 in the Pearlstone Theater for a one-night-only special performance of her album Syndee Winters: Lessons >From a Lady, a musical love letter to American icon Lena Horne. Thanking her for her journey and sacrifice in her professional and personal life, Winters weaves stories and highlights the parallels of the life of Ms. Horne with those of her own professional and personal journey while infusing a beautiful interpretation of the standards Horne made famous, including "Yesterday, When I Was Young," and the iconic song from the 1970's film The Wiz, "Believe in Yourself."

It's a whole new year with a whole new slate of fabulous theater coming to Seattle and the surrounding areas. So many exciting shows ready to thrill and astound us, make us laugh and cry. And so, I thought I'd let you in on the Top 10 shows coming up that I'm most excited about (actually 11 since I couldn't narrow it down to 10 but 'Top 10' sounded better) in chronological order.

The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, pays tribute to Nat King Cole's centennial with Unforgettable: Celebrating Nat King Cole and Friends on Friday, February 8 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall.

Lythgoe Family Panto (LFP), in association with the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, announces Philip Anthony-Rodriguez (NBC's 'Grimm' and ABC Family's 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager') as The Cowardly Lion for the final 4 performances of the world premiere of THE WONDERFUL WINTER OF OZ at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, (300 East Green Street, Pasadena CA 91101) on December 29 at 1:00pm and 6:00pm and December 30 at 12:00pm and 4:00pm. The role of The Cowardly Lion is played by Juan Pablo Di Pace ('Fernando' on Netflix's number one show Fuller House, leading contestant this season on ABC's Dancing With The Stars) at all other performances. THE WONDERFUL WINTER OF OZ opened to rave reviews December 15, and must close December 30.

Presented by Cabaret at The Merc, in association with The Barn Stage Company, this exclusive look at some of the area's brightest Rising Stars is now in it's 7th Year! Featuring the best up and coming talent from all over Southern California singing some of the most exciting songs ever written! This is definitely a show you don't want to miss!
