Sonia Friedman Productions and Fox Stage Productions have today announced the world premiere of Ivo van Hove's highly anticipated stage production of the 1950 Twentieth Century Fox film All About Eve.

Winner of 19 major accolades, including multiple Tony, Olivier and Drama Desk Awards, Stephen Daldry's (Billy Elliot, The Crown) multi award-winning production of J.B. Priestley's classic thriller An Inspector Calls will kick off a four-city U.S. tour at Shakespeare Theatre Company from November 20 through December 23, 2018.

“Dancing with the Stars” is waltzing its way into its upcoming season, and the new celebrity cast is adding some glitzy bling to their wardrobe, breaking in their dancing shoes and readying themselves for their first dance on the ballroom floor, as the season kicks off MONDAY, SEPT. 24 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. This season's lineup of celebrity dancers includes an “American Idol” mentor, the first-ever blind contestant to take part in the show, an alumnus from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a Duke of Hazzard, an Olympic Gold medal-winning gymnast and a Bachelor Nation favorite, among others.

Casting has been announced for Matt Board and Reina Hardy's Fanatical, which will receive its world premiere at The Playground Theatre this November.

As I am greeted by 'The Phantom of the Opera' producer, Karianne Jaeger, and led up through the back stage's circular stairs the atmosphere in the theatre feels very focused and concentrated. Stagehands working to fit the stage pieces in the cramped wings, technicians are lighting the ballet dancers during 'Ill Muto.' The huge chandelier (bigger than the original) is looming in the ceiling over the stalls. 'We are in great shape,' Jaeger exclaims. 'We are in the middle of the final technical rehearsals, but we are working hard to make this great production even greater. It's all in the details.'

Rehearsal images have been released for the forthcoming production of The Return of the Soldier, which has its regional premiere at Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester in September, following its critically-acclaimed London run in 2014.

Village Theatre is thrilled to kick off the 2018-2019 Season with the World Premiere of The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes by Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond (Romantics Annonymous at the Old Globe in London, Disney Channel's Vampirina). Walnut Street Theatre opens its landmark 210th season with the lush romantic comedy Irving Berlin's HOLIDAY INN, featuring a score by "America's Songwriter."  Based on the classic film by the same name, the production will be directed by Charles Abbott and choreographed by Michelle Gaudette. Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn begins previews on September 4th, opens on September 12th, and runs through October 21st on the Walnut's Mainstage.
