Little Angel Theatre has announced its Autumn /Winter Season which includes a major new adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book reuniting adaptors Barb Jungr and Samantha Lane (who also directs) following their celebrated collaboration on the Olivier-nominated The Smartest Giant in Town, also written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.

Broadway Dallas has announced its 2023 Gala featuring a full performance of MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL on Saturday, April 1 at the Music Hall at Fair Park, hosted by Gala Co-Chairs Jolie Humphrey and Gail Plummer with Honorary Co-Chairs Ambassador Kathryn Walt Hall and Craig Hall.

Breaking With Tradition Productions’ latest production Brothers Play by Matthew Doherty will open January 14, 2023, at Legacy LA (with one preview January 13th).  James Eckhouse directs the cast of Rob Nagle, Jeffrey Nordling and Jamie Wollrab. I had the opportunity to get some insight into Brothers Play from Jamie, as well as some of the many activities he has juggling in the air.

The play doesn't look down on the people because they're working class, and (mostly) queer. They've had to make hard choices and keep quiet about who they truly are. But what motivated them to create an opera about such a terrifying moment in world history? I decide to speak with them and find out.
