Milt Larsen has died at 12:28pm on Sunday, May 28th, in Los Angeles of Natural Causes at 92. The patriarch of magic, Milt was perhaps best known for his life-long role in the world of magic and illusion, and grew up in a family of magicians.  

Brooklyn Choreographer Jamel Gaines and his dance theater company, Jamel Gaines Creative Outlet (JGCO), will mark Juneteenth 2023 with a program commemorating defining events in African American history and the fight for equal rights at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Sunday, June 18 at 2:00 p.m. The multimedia production will include dance, theatre, music, spoken word, film, photography and costuming. Keen Company will present two benefit performances of Joan Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking starring Obie and Drama Desk Award-winner Kathleen Chalfant in a moving one-woman tour de force. Benefit performances will take place on January 10 and 17 at 7pm at the Players Club.
