Idina Menzel says goodbye to Broadway (for now)!

IF/THEN, which was named the 'Best Musical of the Year' by New York Magazine, will play its final Broadway performance Today, Sunday, March 22 at 3:00pm. Upon closing, the musical will have played 29 previews and 401 performances. Below, take a look back at the show's journey to Broadway!

Ever since Idina Menzel went blonde, fans have been speculating that the Broadway superstar finally looks like her FROZEN counterpart, 'Elsa.' However, Menzel's stylist says this is not the case.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) will present a reunion concert of Kirsten Childs' THE BUBBLY BLACK GIRL SHEDS HER CHAMELEON SKIN on March 30, 2015 at 7pm at 54 Below. The concert will be directed by original cast member Jerry Dixon (If/Then) with original music director Fred Carl (Miracle Brothers) leading members of the original band.

Just days after we revealed that IF/THEN was set for the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles from December 8, 2015 to January 3, 2016, we can now report that it's official -- the show is going on tour! This morning, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts announced that the National Tour of IF/THEN, will launch in Denver in October 2015. Performances at The Buell Theatre begin October 13 and run through October 25. IF/THEN is part of the 2015/2016 Broadway season.

IF/THEN will have no performances today, January 27 - February 1 to accommodate Idina Menzel's rehearsal and travel schedule for her performance of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 1 (click here for THAT exciting news!).

IF/THEN has just announced that it will have no performances January 27 - February 1 to accommodate Idina Menzel's rehearsal and travel schedule for her performance of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 1. Performances will resume on Tuesday, February 3. Ticket holders for performances January 27 - February 1 will be rescheduled into another performance. The musical will play its final performance on Sunday, March 22, following 29 previews and 401 performances.

An amazing fundraising auction occurred at IF/THEN over the weekend when Idina Menzel offered audience members the chance to join her in singing “Let It Go” from the Oscar winning animated film FROZEN on-stage at the Richard Rodgers theatre, raising $4,800 for BC/EFA.
