Over its many years of dominance on cable, A Christmas Storyhas swelled into a holiday film institution that transcends generations. Now, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is bringing the stage adaptation of the much-loved movie back to its Mainstage, running November 28 - December 23.

In addition, in an unprecedented move, the entire show will be hosted by a formidable group of women, as Aracely Arambula, Becky G, Gloria Trevi, Leslie Grace and Roselyn Sanchez take center stage as the official emcees of the coveted awards show that will broadcast live on Thursday October 25, 2018 at 8pm/7c, preceded by the one-hour carpet pre-show 'La Alfombra de Latin AMAs' at 7pm/6c. The show will also air simultaneously on Spanish-language entertainment cable network, Universo and in 20 countries throughout the Americas via Telemundo Internacional. Tickets to the awards show are on sale via Ticketmaster and the Dolby Theatre box office.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 will present KT Sullivan and Mark Nadler reuniting to celebrate the Alan Jay Lerner centenary with their new show 'Almost Like Being In Love' on Sunday, October 14 at 9:30 PM. The effervescent duo, described by Stephen Holden in the New York Times as 'ferociously entertaining,' will include songs like 'If Ever I Would Leave You,' 'Gigi' and 'I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face' in addition to other Lerner masterpieces.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents the Chicago premiere production of Familiar written by Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead, Black Panther, Broadway's Eclipsed) and directed by Danya Taymor, who helmed Steppenwolf's powerful 2017 production of Pass Over. As previously announced, this fiercely funny production features ensemble members Celeste M. Cooper (Nyasha) and Ora Jones (Marvelous Chinyaramwira), who appeared together in Steppenwolf's The Doppelganger (an international farce) last season. Rounding out the cast are Cheryl Lynn Bruce (Anne), Erik Hellman (Chris), Lanise Antoine Shelley, (Tendikayi), Luigi Sottile (Brad), Jacqueline Williams (Margaret Munyewa) and Cedric Young (Donald Chinyaramwira).

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Tony winner Liliane Montevecchi passed away today, June 29, in New York City. She was 85 years old.

After a successful run in Central Park, playing to over 4,000 people, performances resume on Wednesday, June 27 in Rockefeller Park/Battery Park City for New York Classical Theatre's critically acclaimed production of Romeo and Juliet, directed by the company's Founding Artistic Director Stephen Burdman. The production will play this week through June 30, before continuing on to The Battery, Carl Schurz Park, and Brooklyn Bridge Park for performances through July 29.
