I'm unashamed to say that my favorite musical is Hairspray. One of my fondest childhood memories is singing along to Mama I'm A Big Girl Now with my Mom. Beyond nostalgia, it has a great message, and I relate to the character Tracy Turnblad.

Last night alternative rock outfit Twenty One Pilots played the closing headline slot at Lollapalooza Brasil and during their show invited dance music DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike to join them on stage for a very special 'Crowd Control' in front of the 100,000 crowd. The famed US band featured the dancefloor surging 'Crowd Control' track during all three of their top billing performances for the South American editions of Lollapalooza to truly seismic effect. With last night's mainstage show in São Paulo seeing the song's producers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and the colossal Twenty One Pilots coming together for one of the most insane dance-rock fusions of 'Crowd Control' to date!

Bristol Old Vic today announced the latest recipients of The Leverhulme Arts Scholarships for 2019-20. Bristol Old Vic's Ferment initiative has once again partnered with The Leverhulme Trust to offer five exceptional local artists a year-long opportunity to explore their practice. This year's recipients are Jenny Davies, Stephanie Kempson, Ania Varez, Caroline Williams and Rebecca Wood.

Midnight Theatricals has annouced an updated performance schedule and released a new trailer for WE ARE THE TIGERS, the original pop/rock musical and teen horror comedy written & composed by Preston Max Allen and produced by S. Asher Gelman, that will open Off-Broadway at Theater 80 (80 St. Mark's Place) tonight at 8:00PM Michael Bello directs the pitch-black comedy about a dismally low-ranking team of cheerleaders trying to survive the night while being terrorized by a serial killer. Atlantic Theater Company is proud to announce that Little Known Facts at Atlantic, a live podcast hosted by Ilana Levine, will be returning as a full series this spring. Little Known Facts at Atlantic was originally presented as a one night only event featuring Atlantic Ensemble member Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson. Following the first event's success, three additional live podcasts have been announced.
