Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino has announced the 2023 season, inspired by the theme of Duty vs Desire. The playbill includes 13 lively and thought-provoking productions across four theatres, along with a full slate of events in The Meighen Forum.

Casting has been announced for the next season of the Non-Equity Fiddler on the Roof North American Tour. The tour will begin the 2022-2023 season on October 11, 2022 with a week of performances at the Fisher Theatre in Detroit, MI.

Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorican Productions is set to partner with Concord Theatricals and Skydance TV for a new limited series based on Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. Rachel Shukert, who recently created the Babysitter's Club on Netflix, will adapt the musical for television. The project is the first in a deal between Lopez, Skydance, and Concord.

The Juilliard School will hold its 117th commencement ceremony on May 20, 2022, at 10:30am. The ceremony will be held outdoors on the Lincoln Center campus in Damrosch Park, presided over by Juilliard President Damian Woetzel. Invictus Theatre Founding Artistic Director Charles Askenaizer today announced full casting for the company’s season closing production of Edward Albee’s WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?. In this four-character drama that is often as wickedly funny as it is heartbreaking, two married couples battle with their spouses and each other over an alcohol-fueled night in a small, overstuffed living room. The tension the characters feel in these close quarters will be conveyed to the audience in Askenaizer’s storefront production in the 40-seat Reginald Vaughn Theatre at 1106 W. Thorndale, Chicago.
