MAGNETIC DRAGONS To Make Its Premiere At NYC Frigid Festival 2020

Chris Chan Roberson's one man show, Magnetic Dragons, will be making its world debut at the FRIGID Festival 2020. The five-show run will start on Thursday February 20th and conclude on Saturday March 7th at the Under St Marks Theater on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.Magnetic Dragons originally started as a story that Roberson told his filmmaking students at NYU. He decided to tell a more theatrical version of the tale that he's been telling for two decades. The true story takes place in 1995 and at the time, Roberson was a film student on Summer break from college working on a film that he labels with the fictional title of Magnetic Dragons.

The Beautiful Mistake to Release New EP

Esoteric Antenna is delighted to announce the release of the stunning new studio album by the legendary band Nektar. Throughout the 1970s Nektar released a series of acclaimed albums, scoring chart success in Germany (where the British band was based) and later in the USA (where the band relocated). Following the passing of original guitarist / vocalist Roye Albrighton in 2016, fellow founder members Derek “Mo” Moore (bass, vocals), Ron Howden (drums, vocals) & Mick Brockett (lyrics, visual conceptions) reunited in late 2018 along with Randy Dembo (bass, 12-string guitar), Ryche Chlanda (guitar, vocals) & Kendall Scott (keyboards) to begin work on a new album.

Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble Presents Collaborative Performance On LGBTQ+ Identity

Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble has announced the third installment of its 2019-20 Art & Activism Performance Series, THE QUEER LANDSCAPE, an evening of live performance, art, and poetry centered around the intricacies, awareness, and opression of LGBTQ+ identity. Topics of featured performance works examine displacement of the trans community, violence and hate crimes, the evolution of coming out and coming into one's self acceptance, and gender fluidity. THE QUEER LANDSCAPE will play March 20-21, 2020 at Chicago Danztheatre's permanent home, Ebenezer Lutheran Church Auditorium, 1650 W. Foster Ave. in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. Tickets are currently available at danztheatre.org.
