ArtsEmerson has announced its 2022/23 Season, featuring seven live in-person events. The new season continues ArtsEmerson's commitment to international work with an emphasis on uplifting marginalized voices by supporting the presentation and development of work created by artists of color.

Seattle Theatre Group today unveils its 2022/2023 Performing Arts Series, a mix of dynamic dance, music and theater. Featured groups include Dance Theatre of Harlem with a program led by Black-women-artists, a performance rooted in Indigenous Mexican life and death practices by Las Cafeteras, the Grammy-winning Soweto Gospel Choir of South Africa, Pink Martini, Seattle Rock Orchestra, Yamato Drummers of Japan, Indigenous Enterprise dance troupe, and much more.  

Broadway performer Janine DiVita (Jagged Little Pill, If/Then) joins Patrick Oliver Jones, host of the award-winning theater podcast Why I'll Never Make It, onstage for an evening of conversation and song at The Green Room 42 on June 8. It's also a bit of a reunion for DiVita and Jones as they performed together back in 2019 for Theatre Raleigh's production of Bridges of Madison County, directed by Lauren Kennedy.

Tickets are still available for the concert presented by The Riverside Opera Ensemble at Merkin Hall featuring Tony nominee Christiane Noll (Ragtime) and Nathan R. Matthews who is producing as well as performing in the show. 

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the names of the mediamakers selected for the new Humanities Sustainability Fellowship, a year-long program providing 20 U.S.-based under-resourced nonfiction mediamakers whose work and livelihood have been grossly affected by the pandemic with direct, unrestricted stipends to supplement their income.

Agatha Christie’s murder mystery novel, And Then There Were None, published in 1939 and adapted for the stage by Ms. Christie in 1943 is being staged at the Players Theatre in The West Village. The production is part of Be Bold! Productions’ Murder on MacDougal series which produced Murder on the Links in 2021 and Murder on the Nile in 2019.
