Dr. Peter Simon, Michael and Sonja Koerner President & CEO of The Royal Conservatory of Music, Mervon Mehta, Executive Director of Performing Arts, and James Anagnoson, Dean of The Glenn Gould School, today revealed details of the diverse concerts that will make up the 13th concert season at The Royal Conservatory of Music.

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra (OPO) is thrilled to announce that Music Director Eric Jacobsen has renewed his contract with the OPO to extend through the 2023–2024 Season with an option to extend through the 2024–2025 Season.

The Chamber Music Society of Detroit announces its 2021-22 / 78th season of live concerts commencing Saturday, September 11 with pianist Emanuel Ax opening the Signature Series at Seligman Performing Arts Center in Beverly Hills. Mr. Ax will perform an all-Chopin program, including the composer's Sonata in B minor and the Polonaise-Fantasie. 

La Chapelle Scènes Contemporaines has unveiled its 31st season.

Due to overwhelming demand, the Cappella Clausura Troubadours 2021 program will continue to stream through August 20th. The groundbreaking work combines poetry from the 12th-14th centuries with music by an eclectic assortment of female composers. The new music was recorded live at Emmanuel Church in Boston

The Charleston Gaillard Center is thrilled to announce 2021-2022 Series single tickets are on sale Friday, August 6 at 11am for seven performances. Additional performances will go on sale later this month. Featuring ten incredible performances, from award-winning Broadway to stunning dance performances, the 2021-2022 Series creates unforgettable, world-class experiences here in the Lowcountry. 

The ancient singer and songwriters are: The Contessa Beatrice de Dia (Southern France 1100’s), Gertrude, Duchesse de Lorraine (northern France 1200’s), Azalais de Porcairages (Southern France 1100’s), Castelloza (Auvergne 1200’s), Clara d’Anduza (Languedoc 1200’s), and the trio of Alais, Iselda and Carenza (possibly Toulouse in the 1200’s).

The festival opens with four wonderful song recitals presented in partnership with BBC Radio 3 featuring Robert Murray and Alisdair Hogarth, James Atkinson and Sholto Kynoch, Catriona Morison and Malcolm Martineau, and Mary Bevan and Joseph Middleton.  Over the course of these two weeks some of the best classical musicians gather to bring audiences a very special re-immersion in the power of live music.

The season includes Well Made @ The Playground – a mini-season of new theatre, opera, and contemporary dance from developing artists – and Ida Rubinstein: The Final Act, a play with music and dance that chronicles the untold story of dance’s Forgotten Diva. 

The Broad Stage has announced three live and in person attractions for fall 2021 – starting with the West Coast Premiere of the new opera Birds in the Moon, co-commissioned by The Broad Stage, for four outdoor performances in Santa Monica September 1 through 4.
