The cast recording, released by Time Life Music and distributed byWarner Music Group, will be available in 2019, with an official date to be announced before the show transfers to Off-Broadway's Stage 42 in February.

TEVYE SERVED RAW opened Tuesday, July 17th. Just two nights earlier, the NYT/Folksbiene opened the first American production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF in Yiddish. Two of the stars of that highly successful production were in attendance at the opening of TEVYE SERVED RAW. Jackie Hoffman, who plays Yente in FIDDLER, and Daniel Kahn, who plays Perchik, were the first to jump to their feet at the evening's standing ovation.

The quintessential Jewish musical set in Imperial Russia in 1905 is based on Tevye and his Daughters and other tales by Sholem Aleichem about a poor dairyman's attempts to maintain his cultural and religious traditions in a changing world.
