Simon Bonney has released the video for his cover of Scott Walker's “Duchess” today via Record Store Day. The track appears on his compilation album Past, Present, Future, out now on Mute.  Past, Present, Future includes songs from his last two albums Forever (1992) and Everyman (1994) as well as 6 new tracks for an unreleased album Eyes of Blue. Simon Bonney has released his compilation album Past, Present, Future today on Mute.  Past, Present, Future includes songs from his last two albums Forever (1992) and Everyman (1994) as well as 6 new tracks for an unreleased album Eyes of Blue. Simon has also released the re-mastered video for his song “Don't Walk Away From Love.” Order Past, Present, Future here.

SHOWTIME has named multiple Emmy winner Tom Fontana (Homicide: Life on the Street) as showrunner, executive producer and one of the writers on the upcoming drama series CITY ON A HILL, starring Golden Globe® winner and Emmy nominee Kevin Bacon (The Following) and Screen Actors Guild® award winner Aldis Hodge (Underground). Fontana will work closely with series creator and executive producer Chuck MacLean (Boston Strangler) on the 10-episode series premiering in 2019. Today's announcement was made by Gary Levine, President of Programming, Showtime Networks Inc.

Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theater of California announced today that CHIRLA will present the continuation of their "Immigration Art Night - A Celebration of Our Immigrant Heritage," (which begins Thursday June 21 at CHIRLA) on Friday, June 22 to kick off the final weekend of Bordertown Now performances.  The same evening, a post-performance talk will be held with multidisciplinary artists Xicanx Sun Cha and Gabriella Sanchez to discuss art as space and catalyst of identity exploration and experimentation curated by House of Arts and Ideas.

The Globe is happy to announce that the Globe for All Tour will continue to bring shows to the community in 2018, with support provided by Theatre Forward's Advancing Strong Theatre grant program. Following the Globe engagement of Karen Zacarias's hilarious comedy directed by Edward Torres, Native Gardens will travel June 28 through July 1 to four of our community partner venues for free performances in South Bay, Lemon Grove, Otay Mesa, and Oceanside. Developed in the 2017 Powers New Voices Festival, it runs through June 24 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, and then hits the road!

Measure for Measure is the first time Godwin is directing Shakespeare with an American company. Music teacher Dimitri Kauriga, of Southampton, PA who taught more than 30 years at Philadelphia High School for Girls, had many supporters in the audience when he was named as the grand prize winner in the Fourth Annual Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO) Ovation Award in a surprise presentation.
