Today, Curran announced the cast of SOFT POWER, a play with a musical by David Henry Hwang (play and lyrics) and Jeanine Tesori (music and additional lyrics). SOFT POWER will make its Bay Area premiere at San Francisco's Curran theater (445 Geary Street), June 20 - July 8, 2018. Produced by Center Theatre Group, SOFT POWER comes to Curran after its world premiere at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles from May 3 through June 10, 2018. Tickets for SOFT POWER are currently only available to #CURRAN2018 subscribers. Single tickets will be announced at a later date.

Later tonight, Hollywood royalty will gather at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to salute the greatest achievements of the year in motion pictures. 400 members of Seattle Men's Chorus (SMC) and Seattle Women's Chorus (SWC) join together in song at McCaw Hall for Not In Our Town on April 7, 2018 at 8pm and April 8, 2018 at 2pm.  New York-based comedian and YouTube sensation Randy Rainbow is making his Seattle debut as the special guest for both performances. Exemplifying this season's CVRep theme of 'Romance, Real or Imagined', The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? touches on relationships and betrayal in true Albee style. Well known for pushing the envelope, Mr. Albee, uses sexuality and humor to deflect where the real problems are based.

The hit musical inspired by the life of rock legend Marc Bolan, 20th Century Boy, returns to the stage on a UK-wide tour to mark the 40th anniversary of the iconic star's untimely death. Opening on 8 March at G-Live in Guildford, the production will enjoy a 20-week tour, visiting 27 theatres through to Saturday 30 June.
