Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift lead the nominations with 10 nods each in categories including, a?oeVideo of the Year,a?? a?oeSong of the Yeara?? and a?oeBest Pop.a?? Other top contenders include first-time VMA nominees Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X who both entered the category of a?oeBest New Artist,a?? presented by Taco Bell®.  This year's show will introduce two new categories, a?oeBest K-Popa?? and a?oeVideo for Good.a??

42nd Asian American International Film Festival Announces Film Lineup

Presented by Asian CineVision, the 42nd Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF42), and taking place July 25 – August 3 in New York City, has announced its full film lineup. The first and longest running Asian interest film festival in the country, AAIFF42 will be presenting 12 narrative features, 9 documentary features, and 67 short films, from 19 countries.

CROSSING THE LINE Festival 2019 Announced At FIAF

The French Institute Alliance Fran aise (FIAF), New York's premier French cultural and language center, today announced the 2019 Crossing the Line Festival, featuring 11 performances and a gallery exhibition from a geographically, generationally, and artistically diverse group of artists whose work transcends genres and boundaries. All performances are world, US, or New York premieres; they are united by their convention-breaking fearlessness as they confront topics from social injustice to personal demons. Many of the performances pay homage to legendary artists of our time and previous eras, while the theme of migration and its transformational effects on identity informs several others.
