Terence Blanchard’s opera Champion, based on the true story of the troubled former middleweight boxing champion Emile Griffith, will have its highly anticipated Metropolitan Opera premiere on April 10, with nine performances running through May 13.

The internationally lauded conductor and pianist Ian Hobson, has been appointed Guest Conductor of the Sinfonia Varsovia in Warsaw, Poland. Mr. Hobson's position will officially commence September 1, 2023.

The immensely versatile and internationally lauded pianist and conductor Ian Hobson will present the fourth concert in his popular Robert Schumann recital series at New York's Tenri Cultural Institute.

While the series' recurring cast includes Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, Donnie Wahlberg, and more, guest stars have included Audra McDonald, Kelli O'Hara, Joanna Gleason, Adrienne Warren, Jinkx Monsoon, Norm Lewis, Norbert Leo Butz, and more. The tour sees Snoop Dogg enlist a selection of his key collaborators from the breadth of his iconic music career including further West Coast hip hop royalty; Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, Obie Trice and D12. They will also be joined by the multi-million streamed Irish rap duo Versatile.

MUSE/IQUE continues its adventurous yearlong concert series, L.A. Mark Owen’s brand new album, Land Of Dreams, is out now via BMG.
