Australian producers John Frost and Suzanne Jones have announced today that iconic Australian entertainer Tom Burlinson will join the cast of the multi-award winning, record breaking musical CHICAGO for its seasons in Sydney and Brisbane playing the role of the cunning and charismatic lawyer Billy Flynn.

 The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG) IATSE Local 600  57th Annual ICG Publicists Awards Luncheon will take place Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The awards, which traditionally occur the week leading up to the Academy Awards®, will be presented in the following categories: Motion Picture Showman of the Year, Television Showman of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Maxwell Weinberg Publicist Award for a Television Campaign and for a Movie Campaign, Les Mason Award for Career Achievement in Publicity, and the Bob Yeager Award for Community Service. More than 800 industry leaders are expected to attend the awards luncheon. Awards chair this year is Tim Menke with Sheryl Main serving as co-chair.

It has been confirmed today that the multi-award winning, record breaking musical CHICAGO is coming to Melbourne next summer! Pictures) won the top honors for Best Publicity Campaign for Motion Pictures and THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT - Ryan Aguirre (CBS Television Studios) won the Best Publicity Campaign in Television, both presented by Anna Paquin (Flack). This year's luncheon, which traditionally occurs the week leading up to the Academy Awards®, was chaired by Tim Menkeand co-chaired by Sheryl Main. The Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program is proud to present Noel Coward's classic comedy Hay Fever. This madcap play about a weekend with the eccentric Bliss family will star the MFA Class of 2020 and a guest performer.  Director Jerrold Scott's production will take the audience back to the 1920's and remind them of the joy of life and fear of boredom. The show will run from February 27th-March 9th in Helen Theatre at Playhouse Square.

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 24 - February 3, 2019.

Presented by The Reel Blues Fest, Inc., more than 16 blues musicians from around the country including James Montgomery, Bob Margolin, Jerry Portnoy and many others will come together on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. for an all-star tribute to the late blues harmonica legend James Cotton.

James Greene, a character actor with an illustrious stage career, but perhaps best known for his four-year stint on TV's 'The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd' with writer and director Jay Tarses, died on November 9, 2018, at his home in Los Angeles. He was 91.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 92-year-old Palace Theatre has received a full facelift of its 2,691-seat auditorium. The first major renovation for the Palace since 1984, the six-month, main-hall makeover included the repair of damaged plaster, new paint in a new color scheme, all-new seats on the main floor, full refurbishment of balcony seats, and installation of a new LED house lighting system in the dome and main chandelier. The first public performance in the fully renovated auditorium will be Grammy-nominated comedian Jim Gaffigan on Friday, November 2.
