WITHOUT GETTING KILLED OR CAUGHT Documentary To Premiere at SXSW

Author, filmmaker and producer Tamara Saviano and co-producer and co-director Paul Whitfield announce the world premiere of “Without Getting Killed or Caught,” their remarkable documentary film about the complicated relationship among legendary songwriters Guy Clark, Susanna Clark and Townes Van Zandt, and the art it inspired. The film will premiere this March at the South By Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival for SXSW badge holders. “Without Getting Killed or Caught” features narration by Academy Award-winner Sissy Spacek (as Susanna Clark) as well as interviews with Guy Clark, Rodney Crowell, Steve Earle, Vince Gill, Jo Harvey Allen, Terry Allen and Verlon Thompson, along with archival soundbites, photos and vintage footage.

As the world watches the devastating wildfires unfold in Australia, everyone at Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway is heartbroken. The production's roots in Australia run deep: the film was made in Australia, brought to life by the great Australian artists Baz Luhrmann, Catherine Martin, and Nicole Kidman. The musical was brought to the stage by Australian-based producers Carmen Pavlovic, Gerry Ryan and their production company, Global Creatures. The Broadway musical features Australian actors in the cast.

3x GRAMMY® Award-nominated rapper Roddy Ricch is dominating the charts as he currently holds the number one song and number one album in the country. This is his first number one on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart now that the “The Box” rose from number three on the January 11th chart. “The Box” also ascended to number one on Hot Rap Songs and races 13-3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Normal Ave will launch its 2nd Annual NAPSeries (Normal Ave Playwrights Series) with 29-hour readings of four brand new plays. This year's festival will include Men Accumulate by Peter Kim George, On Trash Monsters by Gillian Beth Durkee, Sarah Sits Shiva for Herself by Megan Pope, and Seven Letter Names by Kristian O'Hare. All readings will take place January 10-12 at Normal Ave's Medicine Show Theatre, located at 549 W 52nd Street, and are free and open to the public.
