Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity will welcome Megumi Masaki as Director of Music. Beginning May 1st, Megumi will lead the vision and implementation of Music programming at Banff Centre, developing and nurturing emerging artists alongside world-class faculty.

The Oratorio Society of New York, led by Music Director Kent Tritle, presents the 46th Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition Finals Concert at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1:30pm. Edward Burtynsky's powerful new photography series African Studies, a seven-year project spanning ten countries, is having its New York premiere with two solo gallery exhibitions. The exhibitions are on view at Sundaram Tagore Gallery from March 2 through April 1 at 542 West 26th Street and at Howard Greenberg Gallery from March 4 through April 22 at 41 East 57th Street. African Studies is the subject of a 208-page monograph of the same title newly published by Steidl (2023).

Acclaimed mezzo soprano Sally-Anne Russell will join the Adelaide Baroque Orchestra for its second concert for 2022, entitled Jewel of the City: Music of Dresden. The concert will be performed on Sunday 7 August at 3.00pm in Elder Hall, Adelaide. A pre-concert talk by Dr Jan Stockigt takes place from 2.00pm.
