The Neutrinos Celebrate 20 Years

In 2019 it will be twenty years since maverick Norfolk art-rock pioneers The Neutrinos played their first gig. To start the year they have just announced a celebratory home-town show at Norwich Arts Centre on Saturday 26 January.

“Chillin' on the Lucie” Music Festival Adds Uncle Kracker, Cassadee Pope, Parmalee, Josh Gracin, & More

More artists have been announced to perform at the Chillin' on the Lucie music festival in Port St. Lucie, Fla., Oct. 3 - 7. Uncle Kracker has joined the roster, as well as Cassadee Pope, Parmalee, Josh Gracin, Clare Dunn, Kalie Shorr, Hudson Moore and Lewis Brice. Twang and Round, Radio Romance, Julia Cole, Honey County, County Wide and Libby Switzer are also set to perform. Adirondack Theatre Festival Announces 24th Summer Season

The 24th season of the Adirondack Theatre Festival will feature the golden era tap musical Front Page Flo. The show will open at the Charles R. Wood Theater, located at 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls, and run on August 3rd, 4th, and 7th-9th. Performances will start at 7:30pm and will include a matinee at 2pm on August 8th. Tickets range from $32-$45 and can be purchased at the Wood Theater Box Office, online at ATFestival.org, or by calling (518) 480-4878.

Louis Cole Announces New Album and Shares New Track/Video

Time is Los Angeles-based singer songwriter, producer and multi instrumentalist Louis Cole's third album - a casual but addictive blend of quickfire, hook-laden electrofunk bullets and wistful, soft-focus balladry - and it's compelling. 'A lot of it is little thoughts, that I made into big songs... blasts of inspiration that I was lucky enough to receive,' Cole explains. 'But it all comes back to my mission to create deep feelings through music,' he says of his debut Brainfeeder outing, set for release August 10th, 2018.

Victory Gardens Theater, in association with Natural Shocks National Project and HowlRound Theatre Commons, presents Town Hall: #NeverAgainChicago to discuss the call to action taking place across the nation by students and allies to end gun violence. #NeverAgainChicago, which also features a reading of an excerpt from Lauren Gunderson's new play Natural Shocks, will be held in the Za?ek McVay Theater at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue on Sunday, April 15 at 6pm. This event is FREE and open to the public. HowlRound Theatre Commons will livestream the event and can be viewed at www.howlround.tv.

If you've ever wanted to help create a Broadway-style musical, now is your chance because BROADWAY'S NEXT H!T MUSICAL Is Coming To Kean Stage in Union on Friday, March 23. In this fully improvised show, the troupe gathers silly song suggestions from audience members. Four finalists are chosen, and the cast members perform them as if they are scenes from a pre-existing musical. Then the audience votes for their favorite. The winning song is turned into a full-blown musical right before your eyes, complete with memorable characters, witty dialogue and plot twists galore.

This year, the Bowl's annual staged musical visits the 2001 international phenomenon about a young woman's plot to uncover the identity of her father among three of her mother's former loves, all of whom are invited to her wedding on a Greek island. But which man turns out to be her father and walks her down the aisle? Filled with ABBA's timeless songs, including 'Dancing Queen' and 'Voulez Vous,' get ready to have the time of your life July 28-29-30 seeing MAMMA MIA! at the Hollywood Bowl, directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall and conducted by David Holcenberg. Kathleen Marshall is one of Broadway's most celebrated artists. Honored numerous times for her work on stage and screen, she has won three Tony Awards (with six more nominations) and two Drama Desk Awards (four additional nominations). Marshall has also been nominated for both an Olivier and an Emmy. The MAMA MIA! production at the Hollywood Bowl marks her Los Angeles debut as a director/choreographer, and I recently was fortunate to speak with her, and stars Corbin Bleu and Lea DeLaria, about their excitement being involved in the musical extravaganza.
