BEETLEJUICE, presented by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures (Mark Kaufman) and Langley Park Productions (Kevin McCormick), announced Beetlejuice broke the Winter Garden Box Office Record for an 8 performance week with a gross of $1,589,838.90, the week ending December 1, 2019. The previous record was held by SCHOOL OF ROCK with a gross of $1,506,236.20, for the week ending December 27, 2015.

Irving Burgie, the songwriter best known for his calypso hit Day-O, has died at age 95, according to the BBC. The cause of death was a result of complications from heart failure.

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS and WARNER RECORDS will celebrate the vinyl release of Beetlejuice - Original Broadway Cast Recording with an exclusive in-store signing and performance at Barnes & Noble on Friday, December 6 at 4:30 PM. The album, also available on CD, digital download and streaming platforms, was released on vinyl as a two-LP picture disc set today, Friday, November 22. The event - which will include the show's current Broadway stars Alex Brightman, Sophia Anne Caruso, David Josefsberg, Kerry Butler, Adam Dannheisser and Leslie Kritzer, in addition to the show's composer and lyricist Eddie Perfect - will feature a performance of musical selections and an album signing. The store is located at 150 East 86th Street, between Lexington and Third Avenues on the Upper East Side.

BroadwayCon announced today BEETLEJUICE has joined the MainStage lineup at BroadwayCon 2020. As part of MainStage programming, the BEETLEJUICE Spotlight session will feature members of the cast on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Additional MainStage programming will be announced at a later date. GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS and WARNER RECORDS have announced that the BEETLEJUICE - Original Broadway Cast Recording Will Be Released on Vinyl as a two-LP picture disc set on Friday, November 22. The same day, Urban Outfitters will release an exclusive color vinyl edition. Both versions include full-color packaging with complete lyrics and synopsis, in addition to liner notes by Jerry Portwood, Digital Editorial Director of Rolling Stone.
