BCM Spring, the spring installment of Bridgehampton Chamber Music's concert season, presents three programs of stellar guest artists and BCM musicians in 2023.

Its title track interplays between softly transitory instrumentals and sonic barrages, juxtaposing piano passages against a drawling, sitting-on-the-edge-of-the-world vocal line. Frantic instrumentals race forward with bold highs, shifting effortlessly from urgent funeral marches to subtly power pop inflected choruses.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents the North American Premiere of Christopher Wheeldon's latest ballet Like Water for Chocolate from American Ballet Theatre for six performances from Wednesday, March 29 through Sunday, April 2. Center audiences will be the first in the country to experience this magical Mexican love story with the stellar dancers of ABT translating this richly layered story.

The Oakland Symphony Orchestra will present its 25th Annual David Daniels Young Artists Concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19 at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts in Clinton Township.

Multi-award-winning songwriter Tones And I has returned with “I Made It.” The new song, which is available now on all streaming platforms, was composed by Tones And I for the Netflix Film True Spirit. “I Made It” is inspired by True Spirit, which chronicles the life of the tenacious young sailor Jessica Watson (Teagan Croft).

Steppenwolf Theatre Company will continue its 47th season with ensemble member Rajiv Joseph’s Chicago premiere of Describe the Night, directed by ensemble member Austin Pendleton.
