Theatre fans need not travel all the way to New York City to get a taste of Broadway. Though the Big Apple boasts perhaps the freshest productions and greatest talents in the world, many of the most successful shows on Broadway will eventually hit the road- bringing and equally magical (though sometimes slightly updated) version of their production to cities across the country.

February 29) concludes its latest season with artists performing Broadway, folk, classical, and more. 

RENT, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning landmark rock musical written by Jonathan Larson, will return to Easton in a 20th Anniversary production that promises to be as impactful and exciting as the original.  The tour hits the State Theatre with two shows on February 9th.

The rock musical RENT comes to Mayo Performing Arts Center for three performances, Friday, February 7 at 8 pm and Saturday, February 8 at 2 pm and 8 pm. Tickets are $59-$99. Student rush seats will be available for $20 24 hours prior to the performances.

The producers of the RENT 20th Anniversary Tour announced today that single tickets for the upcoming tour engagement in Dallas, presented by Dallas Summer Musicals (DSM) and Broadway Across America (BAA), will go on sale Friday, December 13.

Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning masterpiece RENT will return to the National Theatre by popular demand with its 20th anniversary tour production. The musical will run Tuesday, November 12 through Sunday, November 17, 2019, and is the fourth production in the venue's recordbreaking 2019-2020 Broadway at the National season.

San Francisco Playhouse announced casting for the Bay Area premiere of Groundhog Day the Musical, the hit Broadway comedy adapted from the timeless Bill Murray film. Danny Rubin, co-writer of the 1993 film, wrote the book, with music and lyrics supplied by Tony-winner Tim Minchin (Matilda). Susi Damilano will direct the Playhouse production, with music direction by Dave Dobrusky and choreography by Nicole Helfer.

Bristol Riverside Theatre follows up its season opener, An Act of God, with Kim Wayans and continues its 33rd Season with Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey's Broadway hit, Next To Normal. This Tony and Pulitzer winning musical drama about a family coming apart at its center runs October 29 to November 24, 2019. Opening Night is Thursday, October 31 at 7:30pm. BRT's Artistic Director Keith Baker directs this rock musical that features NYC-based actress Donna Vivino in the role of Diana.. All performances are at Bristol Riverside Theatre in Bucks County, located at 120 Radcliffe Street. It has been confirmed today that the multi-award winning, record breaking musical CHICAGO is coming to Melbourne next summer!
