Set firmly in, and often about, New York, Company follows five married, once married, or soon to be married couples and their mutual friend, Robert, a 35-year old bachelor who has been unable to connect in a long-term relationship. Bobby observes the less than ideal aspects of commitment. But, eventually, learns that while relationships aren't perfect, they are a necessary part of "Being Alive." Includes the songs "Getting Married Today," "The Ladies Who Lunch," and "Being Alive."



Opening on Broadway in 1970 and running 705 performances, garnering 14 Tony Award Nominations, and winning 6 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Book, Best Score, Best Lyrics. Revived on Broadway in 1995 running for 60 performances garnering 2 Tony Nominations. Revived again in 2006 running 246 performances garnering 3 Tony Nominations and winning for Best Revival of a Musical.

Last performed at the Company in 1993, Founding Artistic Director Tina Packer delivers audiences her 'bare-Bard' production of Caesar, marking its final leg of a three city tour-Orlando, Florida, Prague in the Czech Republic, and now at home in Lenox, with Shakespeare & Company. With 7 actors playing multiple roles this poetry-filled psychological and political thriller follows the conspiracy and assassination of the omnipotent Roman leader, and the consequences that ensue from his brutal murder. Performances run in the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre June 27 - August 30.Press Opening is Friday, July 4 at 8:00pm.

Aurora Theatre Company Extends TALLEY'S FOLLY Through 5/24/2015

Due to popular pre-sale demand, a year in advance, Aurora Theatre Company announces that it will extend Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning TALLEY'S FOLLY, the second fully staged production to be performed in the company's second stage performance space, Harry's UpStage. The company will add a sixth show to the existing performance weeks and will extend the original run dates an additional two weeks. Aurora Theatre Company pays homage to Lanford Wilson with "The Talley Trilogy." Acclaimed Bay Area actress and director Joy Carlin (After the Revolution, Body Awareness, Jack Goes Boating, Awake and Sing!) directs the first entry in this series of three interrelated plays.

Running for a limited time from today, February 20 to March 16, this multimedia theatrical event explores the history of Wonder Woman - from her creation as a comic book superhero character to her lasting influence in American pop culture. The play is directed by MTC artistic director Jasson Minadakis and features local actors Lauren English, Jessa Brie Moreno and Liz Sklar, as well John Riedlinger (Minnesota) and Nicholas Rose (Ohio). Opening night is Tuesday, February 25. Based in Mill Valley, MTC is a 47-year old professional nonprofit theater that is a destination for exhilarating performances, inspired new American plays and powerful theatrical experiences.
