Broadway star Howard McGillin brings his 'Never Been Younger' cabaret to Club Helsinki Hudson on Sunday, April 26, at 7pm, as part of the Helsinki on Broadway series presented by Showstoppers NY in association with Gary DiMauro. The two-time Tony Award nominee is best known for his record-setting run playing the title role in 'The Phantom of the Opera.'

The Broadway at Birdland concert series presented singer/pianist Steve Ross in “Songs I Love” last night. Steve looked back at his long career and revisited songs from his first recording (1979) and his more recent efforts celebrating Alan Jay Lerner, Noel Coward and Stephen Sondheim. KT Sullivan who is currently appearing with Steve at the Irish Repertory Theatre in LOVE, NOEL: The Songs and Letters of Noel Coward (written and devised by Barry Day) joined Steve for a few songs.

The Colorado Theatre Guild's 14th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, located at 10075 Commons St. Lone Tree, CO 80124. Garry Marshall Theatre presents Deidrie Henry in the Broadway play Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill by Lanie Robertson for 15 performances May 15 to June 2, 2019 (press opening is Friday, May 17). The director is Gregg T. Daniel and playing Jimmy Powers is musical director Abdul Hamid Royal. Daniel most recently directed The Mountaintop for Garry Marshall Theatre.

Celebrating its fifth and final installment of "Bold New Works for Intimate Stages," Creative Cauldron presents the world premiere of On Air. Set in Pittsburgh, PA during the 1920s, On Air tells the story of Frank and Flora Conrad, who were on the edge of discovering mass broadcasting. These two unsung radio pioneers established the first radio station in America in their unassuming garage. On Air follows their untold love story, and how radio became a constant companion, messenger and soundtrack of our lives over the past century of American life. Matt Conner and Stephen Gregory Smith, the critically acclaimed creative team for Creative Cauldron's past Bold New Work premieres (Turn of the Screw 2015, Monsters of the Villa Diodati 2016, Kaleidoscope 2017, Witch 2018,) are mining the nostalgia of a bygone era and shedding light on a relatively unknown piece of American history with this newest work. On Air runs May 2 - 26, 2019.

The audience is about to witness one of Billie Holiday's last performances, given four months before her death. More than a dozen musical numbers - including "What a Moonlight Can Do," "Crazy He Calls Me," "Easy Living," "Strange Fruit," "Taint Nobody's Biz-ness If I Do," and "God Bless the Child" -- are interlaced with salty, often humorous, reminiscences to project a riveting portrait of the lady and her music.

Marie du Toit and Bram Potgieter present 'CRAZY - Golden Oldies with a touch of Bipolar', a cabaret featuring popular songs from yesteryear presented with a mental twist. Golden oldies are skillfully woven together with Marie's rich husky voice and tongue-in-cheek accounts of living life with Bipolar as she is superbly accompanied by Bram who brings his distinctive jazz flare to the stage. 'CRAZY' will have you laughing, crying and tapping your feet. Come and enjoy a highly entertaining and supremely enlightening performance. Inspired by an unwavering love for songs from the Golden era, and her own personal battle with Bipolar Mood Disorder, Marie du Toit teams up with Bram Potgieter to bring you their brand new cabaret, 'CRAZY - Golden Oldies with a touch of Bipolar'. The show takes a light-hearted look at the crazy highs and lows of a mental disorder and features great old favourites such as 'Unforgettable', 'Cabaret', 'Mack the Knife' and 'Blueberry Hill', masterfully adapted to illustrate the Bipolar theme.

The second production of Pride Films and Plays's 2018-19 season will be IT'S ONLY A PLAY, by Terrence McNally. McNally is arguably Broadway's most prolific gay male playwright, with 20 Broadway credits to his name, plus many other plays produced off-Broadway.

Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth brings an evening of Stories & Song with Piano to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, November 10 at 8pm, part of the Ridgefield Magazine Broadway & Cabaret Series.

Actor Patrick Cassidy, best known for his roles in musical theatre and television, headlines Some Enchanted Evening ~ A Night of Broadway Song & Dance to benefit Inland Pacific Ballet, the professional ballet company based in the Inland Empire. This 2nd annual intimate cabaret evening features song and dance by Inland Pacific Ballet dancers and Academy students, cocktails, hor d'oeuvres, dessert, silent/live auction, and is hosted by IPB Associate Director Jonathan Sharp (The Red Shoes, Carousel, The Rocky Horror Show Live, The Dance of the Vampires, Fiddler on the Roof).
