Rosalind is banished, and with her best friend Celia by her side, she journeys into exile. But not before catching the eye of love-struck Orlando, who is also forced from The Court into the dappled Forest of Arden. What ensures is a riotous combination of a feisty cross-dressing heroine, a tartan-clad fool, melodic songs and laugh aplenty.

Blending physical comedy, music, storytelling and puppetry, this playful As You Like It brings the audience right to the heart of the action and is a celebration of theatre itself.

BWW Review: SWEENEY TODD at Adrienne Arsht Center-Like It's Never Been Told Before
by Cristina Pla-Guzman - Mar 17, 2019

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a cult classic. People who love this musical don't just love the musical, they LOVE the musical. I, myself, have had a long time love affair with Sondheim's work. Stephen Sondheim has changed the American musical forever. As I sat in the audience on opening night of Zoetic Stage's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at the Arsht Center, a show I have seen many times, I threw the proverbial gauntlet at the director, Stuart Meltzer. I thought to myself, show me something I haven't seen before.

by A.A. Cristi - Mar 14, 2019

Sixteen years ago (2003) Golden Girls LIVE: On Stage! was created by real-life couple Peter Mac and John Mac as a loving tribute in the style of Brady Bunch LIVE. The Macs created a loving drag parody of everyone's favorite sitcom, which played to sold out audiences at the now-shuttered Rose's Turn in the West Village. The show uses on-target impersonations of the original actresses as source material (they play Estelle Getty and Beatrice Arthur, respectively) and creates original improv-parody situations to bring the girls back for the reunion fans never got.
