This evening, 22 October 2018, Sony Music Masterworks together with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Producers launched The Music of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, an album of music by Grammy and Ivor Novello Award-winning composer and innovator Imogen Heap from the internationally acclaimed stage production.

NETworks Presentations, LLC, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures and Unique Features, bring the Broadway musical ELF to the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. for the Dec. 18-23, 2018 engagement. Veteran Broadway press agents Jim Byk and Shane Marshall Brown have created The Press Room, a new theatrical and entertainment publicity office now open in New York City. Founders Byk and Brown are joined by publicist Kelly Guiod, who serves as Vice President for the company.

Over 100,000 tickets at all price points will be released on today at 11:00 AM ET for the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the fully renovated Lyric Theatre (214 West 43rd Street, New York, NY). This further block of tickets is for performances through June 9, 2019 at all price points starting from $40.

The Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has donated 1,500 tickets at the performances of Part One and Part Two at the Lyric Theatre this Sunday, September 23rd for the annual gala of the organization Lumos.

The Casting Society of America (CSA) announced today the list of nominees for Outstanding Achievement in Casting in the television, theatre, short form series and short film categories. Nominees will be recognized at the 34th Annual ArtiosAwards, taking place on January 31, 2019, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles & Stage 48 in New York City.

The West End Production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child today (18 September 2018) releases tickets for sale for performances from 10 April 2019 through to 28 July 2019. Tickets are priced from £15 per part and for every performance there are over 300 tickets at £20 or less per part.

Matthew Warchus' fourth season as Artistic Director of The Old Vic completes with an Arthur Miller double-bill, a World Premiere by Lucy Prebble and a special One Voice performance. The cast has been announced for the Australian premiere production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

BAFTA-winning writer Jack Thorne (National Treasure, Kiri, Cast Offs) will return with the third in his trilogy of compelling, penetrating and timely 4-part dramas for Channel 4. The Light (w/t) will look at disability and focus on the repercussions of a catastrophic disaster that befalls a community in a small Welsh town which has seen more prosperous times.

To celebrate the upcoming Harry Potter: A History of Magic, a British Library exhibition, the New-York Historical Society announces a packed line-up of exciting, exhibition-related events for grown-up Harry Potter fans featuring trivia nights, art workshops, creative writing classes, social meet-ups, open mics, book clubs, and engaging courses that explore the Hogwarts curriculum. Tickets go on sale today at 12 pm. Unique programs include an onstage conversation with illustrators Mary GrandPre and Brian Selznick and a special evening with Jim Dale.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will celebrate its German premiere at the Mehr! Theater am Großmarkt in Hamburg in the spring of 2020. The announcement was made today by the show's producers Sonia Friedman, Colin Callender, Harry Potter Theatrical Productions and the German producer Maik Klokow. In preparation for this extraordinary theatre event, the venue will undergo an extensive redesign starting in May 2019.
