This spring and summer artists at Joe's Pub a?" a program and venue of The Public Theater a?" will shine a light on the breath of Latinx art. This group of artists explore music styles with roots in Mexico, Chile, Cuba, the afrolatino traditions of the Caribbean, and more. Seasoned ears will be able to discern the influence of a myriad of traditions while newbies will be granted delightful access to the nuances under the Latinx umbrella at Joe's Pub.

Philadelphia-based indie rock band The Bad Bees have released a music video for their new single 'It's All New,' available NOW. Fresh off the release of their newest EP, 'The Time It Takes,' The Bad Bees continue to delve further into an evolved and mature identity. The video is an extensive play-through of the track, offering exclusive footage of the band in the studio and giving viewers an inside look at their creative process. Showing off both their individual personalities and the band's dynamic is a rather intimate feat, leaving viewers feeling as if they know the band personally.

'19: The Musical' is the brainchild of Through the 4th Wall co-founders, Jennifer Schwed and Doug Bradshaw. Both DC natives, Schwed and Bradshaw conceived the idea of a musical about the passage of the 19th Amendment in 2016, and, along with Composer Charlie Barnett, have been overseeing workshops and concert performances for the last two years. Now, the team is preparing for the premiere of the full production, to be staged at the National Museum of Women in the Arts November 25-27.

In The Works is be presented monthly and feature three composers or composer teams, each presenting about 20 minutes of new material. This month features the works of composers: Seth Christenfeld, Sophie Danis Oberfield & Fernanda Douglas, and Kyle Segar & David Kornfeld. Special Guest: Amy Engelhardt. Hosted by: Thomas Honeck.

THE DRAG SEED will play July 5 - August 25, 2019 at Mary's Attic, 5400 N. Clark St. in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
