Musco Center presents actor, writer, singer, style icon, activist, and all-around Renaissance man Alan Cumming in Legal Immigrant on Wednesday, April 17 at 7:30 pm. The show is a cabaret of powerful songs and stories, anecdotes and social commentary written with the hope to change negative rhetoric around immigration. Cumming uses his own journey to obtaining American citizenship in 2008 to remind audiences that America is a country shaped by its rich diversity.

Today, rising R&B duoAr'mon & Trey released the official music video for their dynamic 'Right Back' Remix featuring breakout rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again. The original single, which was released back in October after garnering the top spot on Ar'mon & Trey's flop or bop vlog, spawned the viral #rightbackchallenge where fans joined in to create their own versions of the song using the track's instrumentals. It's been 10 years since Spotify officially launched for fans. Since October 2008, fans all over the world have enjoyed a decade of music discovery, finding new artists and tracks to fall in love with and rediscovering old favorites. Spotify now has 180 million monthly active listeners across 65 countries. And as of August 31, 2018, they've paid over 10 billion euros to rights holders since launch. Spotify has a music library of over 40 million songs and podcasts, and 3 billion-plus user-created playlists. And to date, over 2,000 genres have been identified on Spotify, among them Wonky (electronic music characterized by synths with unusual time signatures), Shimmer Pop (a Swedish cousin of indie pop and indietronica), and British Blues (the blues … with a British flavor).
