CRUEL INTENTIONS: THE ‘90S MUSICAL returns to Los Angeles for a one-nighter, LIVE at and streaming from the Bourbon Room December 19, 2021. With the plot of the 1999 cult hit Cruel Intentions as their starting point, the cast of powerhouse singers will sing the characters played in the film by Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillipe and others using songs that the characters would have sung in the movie, if it were a musical. These songsters include Brian Logan Dales, Israel Erron Ford, Frankie Grande, Jenn Harris, Emma Hunton, Janel Parrish, Constantine Rousouli and Carrie St. Louis.  

Hampstead Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for the world premiere of Florian Zeller's new play, The Forest. Running from 5 February until 12 March 2022, The Forest is translated by Zeller's long-time collaborator Christopher Hampton, and directed by Jonathan Kent, who re-unites with Zeller after his critically acclaimed production of The Height of the Storm.

The award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company presents two events in time for Halloween: 'Nosferatu,' the 1922 silent classic horror film, accompanied by Wayne Zimmerman on the organ on Friday, October 22 at 7:00p.m., and 'Poe by Candlelight' on Saturday, October 23 at 8:00p.m. Both are being presented at The Cape May Presbyterian Church, 500 Hughes Street in Cape May, where the theater is in residence.

James Cohan has announced David Norr as an owner of the gallery. Norr, who served as James Cohan's Senior Director from 2015 to 2018 and was named a Partner in 2018, joins founders James and Jane Cohan in steering the gallery, which operates two spaces in Manhattan: 48 Walker Street in Tribeca and 291 Grand Street on the Lower East Side.

At the previous 'Tales' on November 5, when guests were asked if they wanted another 'Tales' in December, all hands went up.

Eric Clapton and B.B. King first performed together in NYC in 1967. Over 30 years later, in 1999, the two longtime friends joined forces to create a collection of all new studio recordings of blues classics and contemporary songs. In 1995, Yellow Earth Theatre was formed by five British East Asian (BEA) actors: Kwong Loke, Kumiko Mendl, Veronica Needa, David KS Tse and Tom Wu - aiming to develop work that would give BEA actors more choice of roles, and to bring together Western drama school training with exploration of East Asian cultural heritage. Mendl became Artistic Director in 2011, and the company is now celebrating 25 years.

These concerns, along with discussions with the Shanghai Oriental Art Center-whose leadership informed the BSO about the official cancellations of their upcoming performances-followed by consultations with the tour's presenters in Seoul, Taipei, and Hong Kong, combined to play an influential role in the cancellation of the BSO's East Asia tour.

In conjunction with the exhibition Happy!, NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale brings Rob Pruitt's Flea Market to Fort Lauderdale on January 18 and 19, 2020. The internationally renowned contemporary artist, who The New York Times has called one of the art world's most popular provocateurs, has been staging his nomadic flea markets around the world since 1999 in locations from New York to London's Tate Museum.
