The Tank announced today the programming schedule for the City Artist Corps Grantee Performances. From now until October 31st, the Tank is presenting FREE in-person programming highlighting the work of 14 City Artist Corps Grantees.

The production brings together outdoor theatre experts Tangled Feet, with its long history of site-specific and site-responsive work, with playwright and academic Steve Waters (The Contingency Plan) in a collaboration that explores the importance on the natural world on all our lives, and particularly in the time of Covid.

Tangled Feet in association with National Trust, RSPB, UEA, and Arts & Humanities Research Council, MURMURATIONS, written by Steve Waters, directed by Nathan Curry at National Trust's Wicken Fen Nature Reserve, 17 – 19 September 2021 and RSPB Strumpshaw Fen Reserve, 24 – 26 September 2021.

The 19th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its 2020 Shorts Program lineup. Setting a record with over 6,100 submissions, the final program roster includes 64 diverse and captivating short films from 20 countries around the globe, and features 46 world premieres, including DreamWorks Animation's new animated short, To Gerard. The short films will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs which include five narrative, four documentary, and one animation program. For the fourth consecutive year, 40 percent of the selections are directed by female filmmakers. Queen Collective by Procter & Gamble in partnership with Queen Latifah, Flavor Unit Entertainment and Tribeca Studios is back, a program dedicated to supporting gender and racial equality behind the camera. The 2020 shorts lineup is programmed by Sharon Badal and Ben Thompson. The 2020 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 15 - April 26.

Alongside Sh!t Actually, Camden People's Theatre's alternative Christmas offering includes SheGoat's The Undefinable (10 21 Dec), exploring unconventional relationships and celebrating the unusual and underrepresented qualities of love.

Today's subject Eden Espinosa is currently living her theatre life as part of the national tour of the William Finn/James Lapine musical Falsettos where she is portraying the role of Trina. The show is currently playing in the Eisenhower Theater at the Kennedy Center and will continue through June 23rd. The tour will then travel to Charlotte, North Carolina for its final stop where it will end on June 30th.
