Tony Award winners Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons return to Broadway to star together in the world premiere of Impressionism, a new American play by Michael Jacobs. The production, which will be directed by Tony Award-winner Jack O'Brien, will play the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, reports The New York Times.

In this playful new comedy set in Hollywood's silent film era, a precocious teenager flees small-town Minnesota to chase her dream of becoming a movie star in Los Angeles-but discovers the road to fame isn't exactly paved with gold.

Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas will be going on tour starting later this year. The musical played the St. James in 2007 and the Hilton in 2006 but will now be spreading its cheer at Baltimore's Hippodrome from Nov. 11-23. No casting has been announced.
