wild, mysterious forces at Annex Theatre

Written by M.K. Wessel and directed by Kayla Walker, this play finds a Woman and a Man stuck in an elevator, or perhaps a spaceship, struggling to figure out if they've met before. Swapping places with every blackout, the characters continue conversing as if nothing unusual has occurred, growing agitated by the intimacy of the space. They find themselves in a duel of philosophy, sexuality, and power, complicated further when an Alien breaks in and forces them to confront what ties them all together.
