The Theatre World Awards were presented Monday night, June 5.  Julie Benko received the 14th Annual Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in the Theater, and 2023 TWA Special Award Honorees, Marilyn Caserta for Outstanding Swing and Dale Badway for Outstanding Contribution to the Theatre World.  Check out photos here!

B IS FOR BROADWAY Children's Book to be Released in Support of The Actors Fund

Random House Children’s Books and The Actors Fund announced that they have partnered to release B IS FOR BROADWAY: Onstage and Backstage from A to Z. The book is the follow-up to the hit debut picture book A Is for Audra, which has had Broadway fans young and old clamoring to add it to their collections.

United Solo Closes 2021 Season With Grand Awards Gala

Last night, Broadway’s New Amsterdam Theatre reopened with Live at The New Am: A Benefit Concert for The Actors Fund, marking one of the first events on Broadway since the shutdown and the first Broadway performance to hire actors on an Equity contract, the union of Broadway performers. The Actors Fund and affordable housing developer Thomas Safran & Associates, broke ground on The Hollywood Arts Collective, a $120 million project that will include 151 units of affordable housing for artists, the Glorya Kaufman Theater, rehearsal studios, non-profit arts office space and a new home for The Actors Fund Western Region Headquarters.
