The Real Kyle McCarren is a new musical by Jonathan Larson Grant recipient Andy Roninson and international indie recording artist Sean McVerry, making its festival and UK debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Co-directed by multi-Emmy Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated Lonny Price and Matt Cowart, the show stars Roninson as himself alongside McVerry and a company of NYC and Broadway actors and musicians. The show is a musical-meets-live concert seance described as equal parts Bo Burnham and Tick, Tick... Boom!, telling the true story of Kyle McCarren, Andy's best friend, bandmate, and enigma who is now dead.
