Stuart Goldsmith brings his second sustainability stand-up show to the Edinburgh Fringe. In Canary, Goldsmith confronts his climate dread head-on in a show about how to turn fear into something useful. He interrogates whether individual lifestyle changes add up to a solution or simply play into the hands of fossil fuel companies, while exploring themes of climate change, mental health, parenting, veganism, AI, and social inequality. Goldsmith's previous climate comedy show Spoilers won Best Show at the 2023 Leicester Comedy Festival.
