Market Market is a new interactive performance event by Glasgow-based artist Craig McCorquodale that transforms Clydeside Hall at The Briggait's historic fish market into an alternative marketplace. Five local people connected to Glasgow's Merchant City share comfort food and personal stories exploring belonging, memory, and community. Across one-hour lunchtime performances, audiences eat together as conversations emerge around identity, living side-by-side in a changing city, and what it means to call a place home. The project forms an early public experiment within McCorquodale's wider national artwork State Banquet, a large-scale participatory project set to premiere in 2028.
