Love in the Time of Fifth Grade is a solo-comedy show written and performed by Marina di Marzo, a New York-based writer and performer known for her first generation Italian upbringing and pop culture humor. Armed with MS Paint, Sharon Stone, and her Italian heritage, di Marzo explores exactly when and why her approach to dating post-aged ten went wrong. The show features real stories of childhood passion and heartbreak, a Disney-channel inspired pop song, and examines how puberty often pressures people, especially women, to shed parts of their personality in order to grow up. The show debuted at the New York Comedy Festival in 2026 and runs 60 minutes.
